I've been able to try different places, and today I'm sharing my selection of favorite accommodations.

Rome is truly a treasure trove of discoveries and sights. By choosing the right accommodation, you can explore a maximum of must-see locations. So continue reading and discover now the best neighborhoods to stay in Rome!

Rome is a very touristy destination, so when it comes to accommodations, you'll need to act as quickly as possible. To do so, it's important to define what you want to do during your vacation, such as visiting tourist attractions or having a more authentic experience

Next, consider the duration of your stay. If you're going for a weekend or for less than 5 days, prioritize the historic center or nearby neighborhoods like Trastevere. Beyond that duration, you can afford to explore areas such as Monti or the Prati neighborhood for example.

One way or another, choose your accommodation wisely. Book as early as possible to enjoy the best establishments, because if you wait too long, you will be forced to stay in a lower-quality hotel or one that is too far out... which can easily ruin your vacation!

Iconic and unmissable, the historic center of Rome is the best option to see a maximum of sights It is rich in history, art, and architecture, and bears witness to the ancient grandeur of the Italian capital with a wide range of accommodations to choose from.

If you want to sleep in Rome away from the tourist hustle during your stay, I highly recommend booking your stay in the Testaccio or Aventino neighborhoods. They are located in the southern part of the city, near the Baths of Caracalla. While you may not find any iconic monuments in these neighborhoods, you can easily access the city center by public transport

The Testaccio and Aventino neighborhoods are very calm residential areas with many green spaces, ideal for a quiet stay. You will also find many small restaurants that will introduce you to authentic Italian cuisine!

The months of April to June and September to October are considered the best times to visit Rome!
