Best Things to Do:

Introduction

Dubai is undoubtedly one of the cities in the world with the most diverse and numerous attractions and activities. Between observatories, amusement parks, theme parks, museums, excursions, and many other activities, if you are looking for things to do in Dubai, it can quickly become quite difficult to navigate, and having to pay for all these discoveries can rapidly add up. That's why purchasing a Dubai Pass is one of the best ways to make the most of your stay in Dubai while saving money.

Various tourist ticket options for Dubai are available, and they do not offer access to the same activities, nor do they all operate under the same principle To help clarify things and find the tourist pass that best meets your needs, here's a comprehensive comparison of the best Dubai Passes

Overview of the Different City Passes for Dubai

Before going into detail about each option, here's a summary table presenting the features of the different passes <-️

Dubai Explorer Pass

The Dubai Explorer Pass from Go City is a tailored option that allows visitors to choose a defined number of attractions (between 3 and 10) from a very wide and varied list of activities, including most of the major attractions in Dubai and the surrounding area.

The principle of this entirely digital pass is simple; at the time of your online order, just indicate the ages of the people and the number of activities you want to explore. You don't need to choose what those activities will be at the time of ordering; you will have plenty of time to make a decision later. Once the order is confirmed, you will receive your Dubai passes within minutes in your email.

With this email, you will also receive a clear little guide on how to use this tourist ticket. The most important thing to remember is that there are two types of activities: those that require a reservation and those that do not. In the first case, all explanations are contained in this notice.

To use your Dubai Explorer Pass once on site, there's no need to exchange it for a card; you just need to keep it on your phone in PDF format or print it out, and present the QR Code at the entrance to the various attractions.

At the time of purchase, you will be asked for a date, but this date is not very important. Your pass will be valid for 2 years from that date, and 60 days from the first time the QR Code is scanned for access to one of the activities.

Pricing for the Explorer Pass

Children aged 2 and under do not need a ticket and can access various attractions as long as they are accompanied by an adult. Entry to certain sites is subject to age limits.

  • 3 attractions - Adults (13 years and older): $195, Children (3-12 years): $167
  • 4 attractions - Adults (13 years and older): $241, Children (3-12 years): $213
  • 5 attractions - Adults (13 years and older): $292, Children (3-12 years): $265
  • 7 attractions - Adults (13 years and older): $390, Children (3-12 years): $348
  • 10 attractions - Adults (13 years and older): $535, Children (3-12 years): $488

In total, more than 65 attractions are offered with this Dubai Pass. Excursions, cruises, theme parks, and other memorable experiences are on the agenda, mostly in Dubai itself, some in the desert, and a few in the other Emirates, mainly Abu Dhabi.

Here are some of the key attractions accessible through the Dubai Explorer Pass:

  • Aquaventure Water Park at Atlantis The Palm
  • Desert Safari in Dubai (multiple options available)
  • Legoland and the Legoland Water Park
  • Motiongate Dubai
  • Access to the top of the Burj Khalifa
  • Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi
  • Ski Dubai
  • Sea World Yas Island
  • IMG Worlds of Adventure
  • Dhow dinner cruises in Dubai Creek, around the Dubai Marina, and around Yas Island
  • Yas Island sightseeing cruise
  • Marina yacht cruise
  • Dubai Aquarium
  • Dubai Big Bus, hop-on-hop-off bus
  • And many more discoveries...

My Opinion on the Explorer Pass

Thanks to the wide range of activities offered and its flexible operating principle, the Dubai Explorer Pass easily ranks among the best options.

Its validity period of 60 days and the fact that it is not necessary to choose in advance which attractions to discover allow for real freedom. Furthermore, unlike some other options, with this pass, you easily know what you're paying for, and savings are almost assured, unless you strictly choose only the cheapest attractions on the list.

The Dubai Explorer Pass is a practical and easy-to-use option that will suit the majority of people during a trip to Dubai.

Dubai All Inclusive Pass

The Dubai All Inclusive Pass is the second option offered by Go City and includes the same attractions as the Explorer Pass, except that you can choose a different type of option Instead of selecting a certain number of attractions, you will need to select a number of days, between 2 and 10, to do all the activities you wish during that time.

Pricing for the All Inclusive Pass

  • 2 days - Adults (13 years and older): $278, Children (3-12 years): $232
  • 3 days - Adults (13 years and older): $390, Children (3-12 years): $344
  • 4 days - Adults (13 years and older): $483, Children (3-12 years): $409
  • 5 days - Adults (13 years and older): $544, Children (3-12 years): $469
  • 7 days - Adults (13 years and older): $670, Children (3-12 years): $520
  • 10 days - Adults (13 years and older): $847, Children (3-12 years): $660

Dubai Pass iVenture Unlimited

The iVenture Pass for Dubai comes in 3 different versions. The first one I will present here is intended for people who want to compromise as little as possible and maximize discoveries during their stay in Dubai.

The Dubai iVenture Unlimited Pass does not hold back; it offers unlimited access to 35 attractions and costly excursions in Dubai and the surrounding area for a duration of 3 or 5 days. You will be able to choose freely from a very comprehensive list that includes most points of interest in the city and around.

This is, therefore, a no-compromise and very flexible package, as you will not need to choose in advance what you will do. The only constraint is that at least one hour must pass between accessing two activities. This limitation, of course, does not apply to the Big Bus, which is one of the attractions offered and which you can use to move from one major activity to another.

This pass, which is entirely digital, does not need to be exchanged on-site. You receive it quickly after purchase and can use it directly from your smartphone or print it out. The iVenture Unlimited Pass is valid for 1 year from the date of purchase and for 3 or 5 days after its first use.

Pricing for the Dubai iVenture Unlimited Pass

  • iVenture Unlimited 3 days - Adults (13 years and older): $417, Children (12 years and younger): $342
  • iVenture Unlimited 5 days - Adults (13 years and older): $537, Children (12 years and younger): $430

Visits and Attractions Included with the Dubai iVenture Unlimited Pass

The offered list is less extensive, but it is solely composed of rather expensive attractions, unlike that of the Dubai Explorer Pass, which also includes much more affordable sites.

Here are the attractions accessible through the Dubai iVenture Unlimited Pass:

In addition to access to all these sites, this pass includes a mobile app that contains very detailed information about the various tourist sites and attractions in Dubai. A pocket Wi-Fi is also provided, which will be very useful for enjoying the internet and staying connected during your trip to Dubai.

  • IMG Worlds of Adventure
  • Desert Safari with dinner
  • Ski Dubai
  • iFly Dubai
  • Burj Khalifa
  • City Sightseeing Dubai Hop On Hop Off bus
  • Dubai Dolphinarium
  • Dubai Fountain promenade
  • Dubai Frame
  • Promenade on the Dubai Fountain Lake
  • Flying Cup
  • The Green Planet
  • Grayline Traditional City Tour audio commentary
  • Grayline Modern City Tour audio commentary
  • Pocket Wifi
  • Infinity Des Lumières
  • Sea Camel speedboat excursion
  • Dhow Marina Cruise
  • Dubai Creek sunset tour
  • Kayak at Palm Jumeirah
  • TEPFactor - The View At the Palm - Skyviews Observatory
  • Commentated Amazon Canal Cruise
  • Motiongate
  • Legoland
  • Legoland Water Park
  • Dubai Aquarium
  • Aqua Nursery
  • Ekart Zabeel

My Opinion on the Dubai iVenture Unlimited Pass

The major downside of this pass is that it only offers activities in Dubai or the surrounding desert, and it does not include any attractions in Abu Dhabi. One might also regret the absence of Aquaventure Waterpark.

The Dubai iVenture Unlimited Pass is the most expensive of the City Pass options for Dubai, but it also allows access to the greatest number of attractions. Easy to use, it is specifically aimed at those who certainly are not in Dubai to just relax, but who wish to maximize activities during 3 or 5 days.

Dubai Pass iVenture Flexi

This other version of the iVenture Pass is now closer to the Dubai Explorer Pass, as it offers access to 3, 5, or 7 activities of your choice.

The choice of activities is completely free, and it is not necessary to make it at the time of purchasing the pass. This tourist ticket is entirely digital, obtained in a few minutes by email, and is provided with a complete guide and a very handy mobile app.

The Dubai Pass iVenture Flexi can be used over a span of 7 days from the first attraction you discover on site.

Pricing for the Dubai Pass iVenture Flexi

  • 3 attractions - Adults (13 years and older): $170, Children (12 years and younger): $166
  • 5 attractions - Adults (13 years and older): $258, Children (12 years and younger): $229
  • 7 attractions - Adults (13 years and older): $342, Children (12 years and younger): $304

Visits and Attractions Included with the Dubai Pass iVenture Flexi

The visits and attractions included with this pass are the same as those of the Dubai iVenture Unlimited Pass (refer to the list above). The only difference is, of course, that this time, these attractions are limited in number. It should be noted that Pocket Wifi is also offered, but it will also be considered one of the attractions.

My Opinion on the Dubai Pass iVenture Flexi

The Dubai Pass iVenture Flexi is an attractive offer that follows the same principle as the Dubai Explorer Pass from Go City and is offered at a price that initially seems more interesting.

However, two important differences must be taken into account. This pass is only usable for 7 days, unlike the 60 days of the other option. Furthermore, the activity list is less extensive, although the presence of higher-priced attractions makes this ticket easily worthwhile. In the end, it is solely by consulting the list of activities offered and depending on your desires that you can decide which pass suits you best.

If you are tempted by certain attractions in Abu Dhabi, the Dubai Explorer Pass will often be a better choice.

Dubai Pass iVenture Select

This third version of the iVenture Pass is the most accessible. Once again, it is a completely digital pass, purchased online and received in moments by email.

The difference here is that this offer is less flexible, as it only grants access to 3 attractions in Dubai. Additionally, these activities are separated into three distinct lists, and you must strictly choose one attraction from each list.

The Dubai Pass iVenture Select is valid for one year from the date of purchase, and for 7 days from its first use.

Pricing for the Dubai Pass iVenture Select

  • Adults (13 years and older): $140
  • Children (12 years and younger): $132

Visits and Attractions Included with the iVenture Select

The attractions offered are practically the same as in the other iVenture options, but they are now divided into three groups:

  • Group 1: Desert Safari with dinner, IMG Worlds of Adventure, Motiongate, Legoland, Legoland Water Park, Ski Dubai, iFly Dubai, Amazon Canal Cruise, TEPFactor, La Perle by Dragone, Sea Camel speedboat excursion, Marina Cruise
  • Group 2: Burj Khalifa at the Top, The View at the Palm, City Sightseeing Dubai bus tour, Dubai Creek sunset tour, Dubai Aquarium, Modern Dubai commentary tour, 90-Minute Fast Boat Tour (Splash Tours), Infinity des Lumières, Kayak at Palm Jumeirah, Ekart Zabeel
  • Group 3: Dubai Dolphinarium, Traditional Dubai commentary tour, Dubai Fountain Boardwalk, Dubai Frame, Lake Dubai Fountain boat ride, Pocket Wi-Fi, Green Planet, Flying Cup, Atlantis Lost Chambers Aquarium, Sky Views Observatory

My Opinion on the Dubai Pass iVenture Select

The iVenture Select Pass has the advantage of being more affordable than most of the other options offered while still maintaining a certain flexibility. Its greatest limitation is of course the necessity of having to choose an attraction from each list.

It's quite clear that if you are interested in an activity from each of these lists, this tourist ticket will certainly allow for significant savings.

However, if no attraction from one of these lists appeals to you, or if you plan to discover many more activities during your stay in Dubai, then another option may be more suited to your needs.

Dubai SuperSaver Pass

The Dubai SuperSaver Pass operates very similarly to the Dubai Explorer Pass, and is almost identical to the iVenture Flexi Pass. This ticket offers a list of about 40 attractions, from which you can choose 3, 5, or 7.

⚠️ Currently, only the version for 5 activities is available.

Orders are, of course, made online, and the ticket is received immediately via email. It is not necessary to choose the activities at the time of ordering, but contact must be made prior to visits to make reservations. Customer service is available 24/7 to answer any questions.

The SuperSaver Pass can provide significant savings and avoid the need to buy multiple tickets. It is valid for 30 days from the date specified at the time of purchase, and for 7 days from the date of its first use on site.

Pricing for the Dubai SuperSaver Pass

  • 3 attractions (not available in March 2025)
  • 5 attractions - Adults (13 years and older): $237, Children (3-12 years): $211
  • 7 attractions (not available in March 2025)

Visits and Attractions Included with the SuperSaver Pass

About forty attractions are offered with this City Pass for Dubai, including:

  • Burj Khalifa
  • The Views at The Palm
  • Desert Safari
  • Marina Dinner Cruise
  • Laguna Aquapark
  • Sky View Observatory
  • IMG Worlds of Adventures
  • Etihad Museum
  • Ski Dubai
  • Dubai Frame
  • And several dozen others...

My Opinion on the SuperSaver Pass

The Dubai SuperSaver Pass is an initially quite appealing option, very close to that of the Dubai Explorer Pass and offered at a lower price per attraction. This price is identical to that of the iVenture Flexi Pass. However, this offer quickly encounters a few limitations. The ticket is only valid for 30 days after purchase and 7 days after first use. Furthermore, the list of activities is less broad; you can notably note the absence of Legoland, Sea World, and a ticket for the Hop-On Hop-Off tourist bus.

Even if all the activities of your choice are present, it is the operation of this formula that suffers. The Dubai SuperSaver Pass is less user-friendly, it isn't accompanied by an app or digital guide, and it is necessary to contact the organizers to make reservations for the different chosen sites.

Ultimately, other nearby options like the Dubai Explorer Pass and the iVenture Flexi Pass are, in my opinion, more convincing.

Dubai Digital Pass

Here's a pass for Dubai that will be particularly appealing to certain travelers. This time, rather than offering a multitude of activities and leaving the choice, it focuses simply on two activities that are absolutely essential.

Indeed, the Dubai Digital Pass includes access to the Burj Khalifa and a Dubai desert safari. Booking is simple: you select the dates for your visits, make the payment, and quickly receive your tickets via email. Then, just follow the instructions provided with the email to make the most of these activities.

Pricing for the Digital Pass

  • Adults (9 years and older): $65
  • Children (4-8 years): $58

Visits and Attractions Included with the Dubai Digital Pass

No frills here; only two experiences are offered, but these are the best versions of these attractions awaiting you:

With the Dubai Digital Pass, you will also receive a physical or eSIM SIM card with 10 GB of data valid for 24 hours and 2GB of data valid for 3 days + 30 minutes of calls, as well as a promotional code to enjoy 10% off your next activity booking.

  • Burj Khalifa ticket, the iconic skyscraper, with audio guide and access to floors 124 and 125 for breathtaking views of Dubai, the sea, and part of the desert, over 450 meters above ground
  • Desert safari, starting early with pickup at your hotel, followed by a camel ride, a short session of sand surfing, a snack with tea, coffee, and cakes, and optional quad biking in the dunes

My Opinion on the Digital Pass

Whereas other tourist tickets focus on freedom and flexibility, the Dubai Digital Pass gets straight to the essentials.

If these two attractions particularly interest you, this may be the perfect option for you, but keep in mind that other more comprehensive options also include the same activities.

It's worth noting that this pass is the only one that includes the audio guide for the Burj Khalifa by default. We will also appreciate the fact that you can enjoy a discount for booking a next activity.

Other Combined Tickets for Dubai

If none of these City Pass Dubai options fully satisfy you, or if you would like to complement one of them, you might also be interested in the following combined tickets:

  • The ticket for 2 Dubai theme parks, choose between MotionGate, Legoland Dubai, and Legoland Water Park
  • The combined ticket for the Dubai Aquarium and the Burj Khalifa
  • The combined ticket for the Burj Khalifa and the Sky Views Observatory

What is the Best Dubai Pass?

If you have read through this page, you probably already suspect the answer to this question: there is not really a single best City Pass for Dubai.

If you are also interested in attractions in Abu Dhabi, then the Dubai Explorer Pass will likely be the choice that makes the most sense, even though it is offered at a slightly higher price than other similar combined tickets. However, it is genuinely by considering your desires and budget that you will find the perfect City Pass for you, and I hope this comprehensive guide has helped you make your choice.
