How to Find Accommodation in Cefalú?
Finding accommodation in Cefalú isn't too complicated since the town isn't very large and has only 3 main neighborhoods: the Historic Center, the marina, and the train station area. However, choosing the right place to stay is essential to fully enjoy your trip to Sicily.
Ideally, the best place to stay in Cefalú is the historic center. This is where the key tourist sites and attractions are located, like the cathedral and the fortress. It's a lively area, filled with restaurants, artisan shops, bars, beautiful buildings, and pleasant terraces.
As a second option, consider the marina of Cefalú, located to the east of the old town. It offers a more relaxed and laid-back vibe. Although accommodations are limited, it is a very lively area with numerous restaurants and bars, not to mention the stunning views of the sea and yachts.
Finally, staying near the Cefalú train station is an interesting alternative if you are on a tight budget or just passing through. Prices are much more reasonable, and mainly vacation apartments and a few hotel options can be found. Additionally, Cefalú beach and the town center are not far away.
In any case, I advise you to always book your accommodation as early as possible once you know your travel dates. For example, you can use an online platform like Booking.com to find available establishments at the best prices.
