Located in the Ubud region in the center of the island, Tegenungan waterfall is one of the most visited spots on the island. You can admire a waterfall that drops about 25 meters (82 feet) and swim in natural pools carved into the rock, all set against a backdrop of lush jungle .

To access the waterfall, the easiest way is to drive from Ubud. It's about a 35-minute drive south. If you prefer not to rent a car in Bali, there are excursions from Ubud to visit the nearby waterfalls. Here's a selection of the best excursions on the island to explore the waterfalls of Bali

Further north, Sekumpul waterfall is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Bali. Located in a lush jungle, it's also an ideal spot for hiking . The trails include some uphill sections, but the stunning views of the waterfalls are certainly worth the effort!

To fully enjoy this hike through the waterfalls, I recommend this guided hike to Sekumpul Waterfall, which also includes a visit to the Ulun Danu Beratan Temple, one of the most beautiful temples in Bali! Expect to pay around €62 (approximately $66) per person for a full day with transportation and lunch included.

Relax on the most beautiful beaches of Bali, take a dolphin watching tour, visit Ubud, or explore the volcanoes of Bali... there are many activities to enjoy on the island!
