The Hydra neighborhood is one of the residential areas of the Algerian capital. It is located south of Algiers Center and enjoys a nice proximity to the seaside It's a lovely place to stay in Algiers because you will enjoy a beautiful view from the heights of the capital, with access to the Hamma Botanical Garden, a must-see!

This neighborhood is mainly frequented by the wealthiest Algeriens as well as expatriates. If you're looking for a peaceful location, Hydra is the place to settle! It's not a very touristy area, except for certain places like the Ben Aknoun zoo park and children's play areas.

The Sidi Yahia Hotel is a modern and elegant 4-star establishment offering very nice rooms with careful decoration starting at €128 per night with breakfast included. This hotel has a restaurant, parking, and a communal lounge. The staff are lovely and attentive!

If you plan to visit Algeria during the summer, expect relatively high temperatures, especially if you're traveling in July and August To enjoy pleasant temperatures, the best times to go to Algiers are in spring and autumn, when the climate is milder with an average of 20 to 23 degrees.

Aside from July and August and the month of January, considered the coldest month in Algeria, the climate remains fairly stable with moderately warm temperatures throughout the year.
